Catalogue Description:
Dark-blue-green glazed faience amulet representing, in relief (the rear is flat), the god Bes standing, with hands at hips, on a low plinth. The arms and legs and tail are openwork. The curved brows form the upper edge of the piece. Details of beards and body hair are given by incised lines. Figure pierced for suspension from side to side. Pendant breasts are indicated. Condition: Several cracks especially on rear of head; brown incrustation in hollows.
