Upper Part of Funerary Stela

Catalogue Description:
Upper part of a tall round-topped funerary stela. The upper register bears a representation, in shallow sunk relief, of an Osiris-type figure facing right towards a small table. Opposite him, and facing him, stands a male figure wearing a long skirt, and a short wig cut on a bias. This figure extends two offerings towards the deceased. Above these figures are seven columns of text. [drawing of hieroglyphic inscription] In the lower right register are preserved the heads of three figures. The one on the left faces right; the other two face left. The central figure seems to be a woman who raises her hands in an attitude of offering.
