Catalogue Description: Limestone figure of Bes with his right hand raised. The rear surface is rounded but does not display any modelling. Some of the original paint is preserved on his belt and spotted fur. Condition: Figure preserved from waist up. The god’s headdress is missing as is the instrument (sword?) which he held in his right hand. Black and red paint preserved on eyes, lips, chest. Left arm missing. Some dirt and nicks on surface. Small chips in face.
