Catalogue Description:
A fragment of rather heavy, evenly woven linen decorated with painted representation of part of broad collar with falcon’s head terminal and mesh work of beads that often ornamented mummy wrappings. This is probably a piece of mummy wrappings a cheap with a substitute for the real articles. Painted in green, red and yellow.
