This Kachina is probably Ma'lo, an old style traditional Kachina who appears during Angl'wa (a series of Night Dances) either as a group or singly. His dance portrays a prayer for rain and good crop yield. Both ears appear to be reattached. Feathers on top of head in poor condition. This kachina doll is carved from one piece of wood. The body is painted red with one yellow stripe and one blue down each side of the chest. The arms have yellow sleeves. The face mask is painted with slit eyes and trisected form red on one side, blue in center, yellow on other side. It has tattered feather headdress.
