Catalogue Description:
Tazza, silver. Circular dished plate modeled in the form of a woven basket draped with folded, fringed linen cloth. Linen "napkin" in center of plate engraved with damask-like pattern of a border with interlocking scrolls circling stylized blossoms; inner border of checkerboard design; field with vine, leaves, berries and blossoms. Plate sits on short, circular, slightly domed foot with plain molded foot rim and reeded band at juncture with plate. CONDITION - Normal wear and scratches. Especially several long, thin scratches across surface of napkin. Tiny nicks to rim.
