Catalogue Description:
Bench: Wood and glass. Realistically carved dark stained standing adult bears with open-mouthed heads turned up and towards front support rectangular three-plank seat illusionistically carved with wood grain and knots. Scrolling openwork arms as tree members. Arched open-work back also as scrolling tree members with oak leaves and acorn clusters centering open-work oval with full-face bear with out-stretched arms, head facing to proper right. Back central rectangular leg carved as tree member. All bears with inset amber and black glass eyes. CONDITION - Very good condition. Minor wear and scratches to seat top and back.
