Catalogue Description:
A child’s alphabet plate, divided vertically by a band of geometric designs and semi-circular flowers. The alphabet is spelled out in black block capitals on the proper left, over a background of symmetrically arranged stylized flowers. To the proper right is a polychrome scene with two finches perched on a branch over grassy foliage. Inscribed “CHAFFINCH” and “GOLD FINCH” on proper right. CONDITION: Very good condition.
