Catalogue Description: Dog-shaped doorstop, salt glazed sewer pipe clay. Dog is seated on a stepped pedestal base. Eight-sided base has an alternating convex/concave design. Stylized and etched marks create the details of the dog, such as its eyes, nose, collar, leash and paws. Bottom on the piece is a rough unglazed surface and the center hole reveals the hollowness of the piece. Round green felt tabs along the edge. Condition: Good overall condition. Apparent glaze imperfections that appear as thick and smooth patches. Minor chips throughout.
