Catalogue Description:
Carved stone figurine with an open mouth and closed eyes. Both of his arms are held across the stomach, and the legs are bent in front of the body as if the figure is sitting. The head is undecorated. There is residue of red and yellow ocher and black pigment. There may be a slight groove between the legs suggesting a vulva. See also 03.325.4527- 34. These figures were all found together inside a painted pot. They were purchased from the German trader, Cronmeyer.
