Catalogue Description:
Vase, ivory-bodied porcelain of quatrefoil shape, tapering towards base; in the Japanese taste, each lobe molded with gilt bamboo and colorfully painted with a crane amidst reeds, rocks, and flowering prunus tree on a pale-green ground; the shoulder molded with gilt-heightened stiff-leaves; the handles molded as salamanders; raised on a chamfered, square, gilt-enriched base on bracket feet. Condition: Good, crack on base.
