Catalogue Description:
Grey glaze round plate decorated with polychrome decoration of a peacock. Grey background of a tree and marsh/river scene, large, tall bird in foreground, bird with black feathers, white and red head and short beak, feathers outlines in gold; behind bird is a tall green leaf plant with purple flowers and above, across the width of the plate is a flowering branch with gold colored flowers and with two small green birds sitting on the branch, one bird facing downwards; outer edge with thin gold band.
