Catalogue Description:
Grey glaze round plate with polychrome decoration of a rooster. Grey background of trees and river/marsh scene, in the foreground is a tall, red and yellow feathered rooster with red comb, black and green feathered tail, behind the rooster is a green leaf plant with gold colored flowers, above across the width of the plate is a flowering branch with white and gold flowers and two small green birds sitting in the branch, one bird with beak pointing down; outer edge with thin gold band.
