Catalogue Description:
Grey glaze round plate with polychrome decoration of a duck. Grey background with trees and river/marsh scene, in the foreground is a mallard duck in flight, with green head and brown feathers, the feathers outlined in gold, to the right of the mallard is a green leaf plant with tall gold colored bulrushes, to the left is a smaller brown feathered duck in flight, also with feathers outlined in gold; above, across the width of the plate is a flowering branch with gold colored flowers, sitting on the branch are two small green feathered birds, one with head pointing down; outer edge with thin gold band.
