Catalogue Description:
Rectangular brass clock case with rounded front corners, 3/4" applied band of brass plate and oxidized metal soldered to front, forming alternating black and brass stripes of 1/16" width. The rectangular clock face, set into the brass front, is off-white painted metal; it frames plastic numerals--black numerals painted on white ground; three separate bands for hour and minutes and separate dial for seconds. Clock sits on cast, flattened bun feet. Plated metal body is soldered together, dials and name plate are screwed on. CONDITION: Some wear on brass plating at top and sides of clock. Paint has worn away on some numerals and part of the Lawson signature; brass is spotted on clock front.
