Catalogue Description:
Round, covered ceramic casserole dish (a) with matte dark brown glaze and silver lid (b) with plastic finial. Dish rises from continuous foot rim to bulging body and wide, flat opening. Shallow-domed lid with bottom edge that extends outward and curves over fit over mouth of dish; round, flat-topped black plastic finial tapering to juncture with lid, attached with screws. CONDITION: Fair: (a) light scratches all over dish, especially on inside; a few raised flecks and pin-point holes in glaze (firing imperfections); (b) all-over tarnish, spots, and light scratches; small ding in top side of dome.
