Catalogue Description:
Raffia basketry cap. Knot shaped ornament at top. Two projections in front and two pendant pieces at sides. Worn by chief (Kfumi). Colors are natural dark tan. Condition: good. Fibers strong and flexible with minimal shedding. Knotted structure intact. Some wear on inside raised surfaces, possibly from abraision. Palm stem insert firmly in place.
