Catalogue Description:
Silver-plate fish slice. Oblong, flat blade with pointed tip; pierced around edge with double row of comma-shaped holes; etched leaf and scroll decorations near tip and base of blade. At base, blade tapers with scrolled edges, then arches up to form narrow handle with lobed grip at end. Handle decorated in relief on both top and undersides with foliate and shell forms. Condition: Good; small nicks and scratches all over.
