Catalogue Description:
Mahogany candle stand with tilting top. Slightly dished circular top with molded rim; top revolves and tilts over a birdcage composed of four turned balusters. Central pillar with turned ball and reel above arched tripod base. Scalloping below base of pillar and underside of upper portions of legs. Claw and ball feet. Metal brace underneath pillar nailed to juncture of three legs. CONDITION - Chipped top of post in birdcage. One broken leg, beak at bend glued. metal brace is later addition,
