Catalogue Description:
Square faience tile glazed on all surfaces. Obverse, on pale blue ground, a striding human-headed winged griffon wearing a coronet-type crown. Hair dressed in Persian style, short, pointed beard, tail erect. All other surfaces of tile are pale, yellow, mat finish. Hard, fine grained faience. Condition: All edges chipped. Lower left corner of obverse broken. Use of tile not apparent.
