Catalogue Description:
Plaster model of a woman's head probably of royal rank. The headdress follows on the early type possibly even of the Middle Kingdom but the very full chin and the general cast of the face mark the pieces as late, probably of the Graeco-Roman age. Made from a mould. Condition: The face is pitted and slightly scarred. There are several small holes in the headdress.
