Catalogue Description:
Wooden toilet spoon. A deep rectangular spoon surmounts a papyrus column handle. The handle is worked on the upper surface only. Between the handle and the dish of the spoon is a band of wood decorated with incised geometric patterns. Condition: The handle is broken on the right side of the umbel. The entire object is worn and in places shows traces of gesso or some white pigmentations.
