This stela was dedicated to a woman named Djefatka by her daughter Hatkau. In the uppermost decorated register, Djefatka sits before an offering table opposite her husband Tjesu. Below, the couple is shown again, receiving offerings from two of their children. In both representations, Djefatka occupies the most important place. The food offerings, the depiction of Djefatka's dutiful children, the enumeration of her titles, and the appearance of Djefatka in two different places on the stela all underscore the idea of commemoration.
