Fragmentary Head of A King, probably Ramesses II

This head comes from a statue that was most likely made early in the reign of Ramesses II. When the head was complete, a side view of its features would have resembled those in the relief to the left in this case, with a similar aquiline nose, well-shaped eyes, a rather small mouth, and earlobes pierced for earrings.
