Catalogue Description: Fragment of ushabti of Akhenaten. From neck to flare of hips. Alabaster unusually well modelled. Arms crossed with hands holding crook and flail. Cartouches on either upper arm, remaining lower arm (right) and either side of chest. One large cartouche still indicated on front of abdomen under arms. "Aten" word erased. Condition: Broken anciently in two parts at breast and across arms. Lower fragment includes right forearms, part of left forearm and swell of abdomen and hips. Left lower quarter of body "as is" missing. Right elbow joint missing. Surface good generally. Traces of bright blue and green (malachite?) paint in the cartouches.
