Round colorless glass plate with a dramatic scene of a horse-drawn cart crossing railroad tracks in front of an approaching train. The cart is pulled by a single horse (or donkey) and carries four people; two riders in the front are waving crops or whips to urge on the horse as a train approaches from the left background. The background contains landscape elements in low relief. The edge of the plate is decorated with a border of alternating plain ovals and faceted squares.
