Catalogue Description:
Oak frame and stiles, pine lid, back, end panels, front panels and drawer linings, hinged flat lid attached by an end cleat wooden pin hinge, upper front panels have canted corners, applied molding outlining field which is stained red with maple spray decoration in black with white dots, Single deep drawer divided into two panels by cross section, applied mold outline panels, panels have red stained field with wooden knobs. The drawer is on grooved runner. Oak stiles show undulating line decoration in black most of which is missing. End panels have chamfered edges outlining field. The chest is supported by an oak turned frame, ball feet, cross stretchers, Condition: good
