Catalogue Description:
Statuette of a frog in black steatite, mat finish. Seated, frontal with head slightly raised. Eyes in high relief as are rear legs. Exceptionally, the details of the flat base are worked with considerable care. Technique of manufacture and style differ from those of other sculptures in this group. Condition; All legs chipped, otherwise intact.
