(1) Oval stamp with "RICHARD" around top edge; in center, dove carrying branch flying above fox (lamb?); and "AUSTIN" around bottom edge. [Laughlin identifies the animal as a lamb, but it does not resemble one.]
(2) Rectangular stamp with "R.A.BOSTON".

Large round, shallow, highly polished pewter plate with wide rim that turns up slightly at rounded edge.
CONDITION: Fair; shows heavy use with allover scratches and pitting; spots of discoloration, especially around rim.
