Catalogue Description:
Coffee pot, yellow ware ; pear-shaped body with domed cover; serpentine spout; handle at rear. Footed base. Body with impressed stylized shell and scroll design encircling bulbous body, interspersed with griffin heads; caryatid and stylized leaf forms on handle; spout with bird terminal; leaf design at base. Grapevine motif encircles dome of top. Condition: Good. Top has been broken and repaired. Two ships at base, on foot, at front. Top is a different color and different consistency than the pot itself which has a strange vagueness, except at the mark.
