Catalogue Description:
Small blue glazed faience frog seated on a square base on the front of which is a cartouche of Amenhotep III. Condition: Head entirely missing as are the two front legs. Back legs badly chipped, back of base chipped. The object is of excellent workmanship and fine color. There is a small cavity on the under side of the base it seems probable that the object served as a cover to a small receptable.
