    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Figure standing with arms pressed into sides. Face is carved with deep set eyes with holes for pupils, a flat nose, and a protruding mouth. Fingers are indicated by incised outlines on a flat surface. Back is carved from buttocks to shoulders as a concave triangle. Surface is smooth in some areas and pitted in others. Ivory reveals yellow aging overall with dark brown patches. Was mounted through a hole in one foot.
