- Catalogue Description: Circular dished plate with wide rim; opaque porcelain. White ground, brown transfer printed decoration, gold rim. Decoration is complex, in the Japanese taste; upper portion is a scene of bamboo, branches and herons. Lower third is dense compartmentalized patterns of bamboo, diaper, flowers, birds and leaves with an arched reserve of a rural scene. Pattern Tropics. CONDITION: Good, some crazing to glaze.
