CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Tablespoon with a plain bowl. Lower half of the stem is undecorated. Decoration begins at mid-point of stem with a band of very narrow chevrons. A small circular projection follows, decorated with a molded bow tied about a narrow crossbar. This is flanked by another chevron oriented in the opposing direction decorated with narrow vertical bands. The sides of the handle then flare widely in a trapezoidal shape and terminated in a slightly pointed crest with notched corners. The decoration of the trapezoid consists of: a small continuous beaded border; the lower part of the trapezoid has a undulating vine with leaves and three florettes; followed by a larger flower against a pitted back ground and contained in a rectangle; then a large reserve with scripted initials - "S.T."; then another flower and leaves contained in another rectangular area below the low crested end of the handle. The reverse has similar but abbreviated decoration; the flared trapezoid is undecorated, Countess Pattern. Condition: Generally good condition. Minor scratches and pitting in bowl. Minor loss of plate on heel of bowl.
