CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Child's knife with a plain blade. First 3/4 of handle is undecorated. Then there is a molded florets followed by three narrow molded horizontal bands. The handle is then punctuated by a molded oval with concentric lines. The handle then curves out to a curved shoulder topped by a pointed dome shape. The decoration of this flared section consists of an asymmetrical leafy branch that is bisected by a diagonal band of three roundels each containing a floret and separated by a tripartite leaf. This flared section is outlined by a border of fleur-de-lys that forms a heart shape below the pointed dome cap of the handle. In the pointed dome projection is a stylized five point partial sunburst with molded dots between the rays. The reverse is similarly decorated, but lacks the diagonal band. Newport Pattern. Condition: Good, with normal wear and scratching.
