This is surmounted by another narrow horizontal band of five small florets. The handle then flares out gradually and terminates in an arched top with five scallops. This flared area is decorated with a symmetric leaf motif topped by a narrow zigzag horizontal band with small leaves in each section in turn topped by another symmetric leaf motif.
