CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Green glazed faience amulet representing a baboon. The figure, which squats, is crowned with a sun-disk on the back of which is a loop for a cord. On the chest is an unintelligible inscription. The hands which protrude from the heavy coat of fur on the upper part of the body rest upon the knees. The base has rounded corners. Condition: Lower part of sun-disk only preserved; front left corner of base missing; pitting on rear of figure.
