CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
One figure of a god painted on linen. Here a figure of a god is shown striding to the right, flanked by two crocodiles. This once formed part of a mummy shroud. The god wears a simple kilt at his sides. A striped bag wig is shown. Across the middle of the piece two stripes are woven in by bunching of wefts.
Condition: Much frayed near the center of the lower edge. This has destroyed the right foot somewhat. One small hole in the tail of the crocodile on the right.
