CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Silver-plate teaspoon with a plain bowl. Molded decoration begins at base of handle with symmetrical opposed leafy scrolls with a cluster of molded grapes above. The side of the handle then curves inward and then out after mid-point and then notched and then flares out and in again before forming a broad fan-shape domed crest. The side of the handle molded as grape vines that follow the undulating contour of handle with periodic short curling tendrils. An asymmetrical cluster of grapes topped by leafy stem below notched section of handle and pair of asymmetrical grape clusters trail down from fan-shape crest. Reverse has similar but abbreviated decoration, lacking the grape clusters. Condition: Good original condition. Loss of plate at heel of bowl and raised central portion at end of handle below crest. Pitting and scratches in bowl.
