- Catalogue Description: White porcelain compote; vitreous glaze, with colored and gilded decorations. Shallow bowl with flaring, convex rim raised on cylindrical pedestal that flares out at base; molded band around side of bowl and around pedestal. Around rim on both interior and exterior of bowl and around base is maroon border with flowers and butterflies in yellow, green, blues, and gilt; green and gold bands around edge; molded band around pedestal is gilded. Condition: Good; losses to gilding and scratches in paint.
