    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Pitcher with hinged pewter lid. Jug in Rockingham glaze. Bellied shape. On front and back relief scenes of animals (including hares and fowl) hanging and clustered rifles. Modeled C-shaped handle separately molded and applied. The lid opens with a fleur-de-lys finial. Condition: Good. Chip on bottom. Dents on rim metal lid as well as on the finial. Chip on handle; scratches under lip.
