CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Head naturalistic in style. Face with lips slightly parted; coiffure inlaid with human hair; head wrapped in carved kerchief. Kerchief knotted in back, decorated with painted checkerboard design. CONDITION: Extensive repairs. Hole over left ear, leather patch at rear of neck. Numerous cracks, stains, signs of wear.
