- Catalogue Description: Glazed earthenware vase, cream colored. Molded body formed by three frontally placed eagles standing on a round base; tops of eagles' heads form spouts. Three molded handles around body between eagles; each handle in form of a pair of upright crossed spears angling outward from base and a swag of drapery with molded stripes that extends from shoulders of eagles to spears. Small shield on each pair of spears with molded inscriptions: (1) "1876 / CENTENNIAL / MEMORIAL"; (2) "WASHINGTON / FATHER / OF / OUR COUNTRY"; and (3) "1776 / DECLARATION / OF / INDEPENDENCE." Condition: Good; some manufacturing imperfections in glaze; few minor chips around edge of base.
