- Catalogue Description: White porcelain seated figure of Longfellow wearing a greatcoat and robe with a cloak draped over one shoulder, holding a book in his proper left hand, in lap. Figure is seated in Empire-style chair with large, curving crest rail and dog-headed hand grips. Two books piled under chair. Figure rests on rectangular base with molding at top and bottom. On each side of the base, the word LONGFELLOW is surrounded by oval wreath in rectangle with swag below. Condition: Apparently undamaged.
