- Catalogue Description: This kachina Doll is carved from one piece of wood. The entire body is painted black.This kachjina probably represent Pookon (Pookong) "of the sun" the elder of the War Twins in Hopi creation myth. (The younger is Balonga). The War Twins mother was Spider Woman and there are many stories about them.
