- Catalogue Description: One of pair of mugs, with 85.163.4. Composed of a straight, cylindrical cup with two rows of horizontal striations (one near the top, the other near the bottom) to which is attached a handle in the shape of a clef-note (a circle at the bottom attached to a straight vertical section which joins a short, straight horizontal piece at the rim of the mug). CONDITION: Mug with considerable wear due to use. All surfaces scratched from use and polishing. Small areas of plating chipped off from two edges of handle and wearing at rim and base. Interior worn with traces of discolored lacquer.
