CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Ovid vase in the form of a cabbage with three large outer leaves, with wide base, tapering upwards to a narrow pinched opening; white body with mottled red/green glaze with splashes of dark blue, the interior of the vase being dark blue. The bottom stem of each leaf forms a hollow at the base and then rises to 3/4 of the height of the vase, and consists of a thick, red, ridged stem continuing to a red/green cabbage leaf with splashes of dark blue, visible fronds and irregular, curly edge. The top edge of the vase is irregular in shape with repeating curlicue, naturalistic leaf forms creating the edge of the vase. Condition: Very Good
