- Catalogue Description: "Town and Country" pattern, one of a pair; earthenware with brown-black metallic glaze, slightly mottled high luster finish. (a) Cruet: teardrop shape, bulbous, hollow body with flat underside rises in diagonal, asymmetrical curve to slender neck. (b) Stopper: earthenware cylindrical flat top, tapers to cylindrical shaft to fit neck opening of cruet, shaft covered with glued-on cork. CONDITION - Very good.
