- Catalogue Description: Electric lantern or lamp of chrome (?)-Plated brass and glass. Body in three sections with cylindrical forms of chrome-plated brass with matte finish above and below a central spherical globe of frosted glass. The upper cylinder has a sphere-shaped finial; surrounded by four small circular vents and a reeded bail handle of 3/4-circle form attached midway down sides. Lower cylinder has five circular vents on bottom; on side is a plastic knob and to the right and below this a hole for the cord, which is silk-wrapped and has a plastic plug. CONDITION: Plating slighting slightly worn on some edges and on top of finial. Some wear to silk wrapping of cord, especially at juncture with body.
