    CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Mahogany sideboard, reverse serpentine front in center section with quarter round side sections, with three drawers over four doors. Plain back. Drawers and door fronts are veneered with crotch mahogany and decorated with dark wood banding with beaded edges. Top and bottom edge of front and sided inlaid with marquetry of alternating light and dark woods in a geometric pattern. Four oval-shaped brass escutcheons with bail handles on drawers. Three diamond shaped key holes of ivory and three of wood. Front of legs outlined with rectangular light wood stringing. Four front and two rear square tapered legs. Modern finish; portions of banding replaced. CONDITION: Modern finish. Marquetry missing on bottom right front edge of facade and coming loose on same edge, paint smudge on left leg. Portions on banding replaced. Modern brasses and evidence of previous mounts. Two new wood escutcheons.
